All students should have access to a film or digital SLR camera, with manual controls for f/stop and shutter speed. No knowledge of photography is necessary for the introductory class. Completion of the Intro Class (or a portfolio review) is required for advanced course work.

It is better to beg or borrow an older camera if one is needed for the Intro class. Don't spend your money on new equipment. Choosing the camera and lenses a pro needs is part of the course. However, if you desire to purchase a camera for the intro class, I recommend a Nikon or Canon DSLR.

Film and processing expenses should be expected for film users. Depending on the level of the class, from 1 - 3 rolls are shot each week utilizing professional films and labs.

Students should be available for all classes registered without interruption. Refunds for missed classes are not available.
